This was the happy occasion why the Summer issue of Wiccan Rede was not published this year: our daughter was born on the Summer Solstice, with the Sun just a few hours into Cancer. This was the only issue of Wiccan Rede that we ever missed between 1979 and 2007.

The card was my own design. It shows the Sun in Cancer and the Rose Moon, and the Stork obviously. The two Celtic panels folded over to show the same panels on the front of the card. Other information such as our own names and address etc. completed the card.
